Okay so yeah I got a random urge to listen to this song [link] And then this really cool short story popped up into my head, check it!
~~~~~~
Garara walked alone on the streets of Tokyo on a storming night. "Looks like I stayed out too late; it's too dangerous to return home at this time... heh..." he said to himself. He rested against a telephone pole. He really didn't mind the rain, it was actually enjoyable. Not a car or person was in sight as if it was a deserted ghost town. "I wonder if I could find a good place to spe- Eh? W-What are you doing here?" he stammered as a little filthy stray mutt walked up to him wagging its little tail cheerfully. "Look, I don't have any food, you should move on," but the dog didn't budge. It definitely wanted something, but Garara couldn't figure out. He reached out to pat its head, but it jerked back and barked. "See if I care," Garara said and leaned back against the pole again. The dog, nervous and hesitant, gave a straight face and leaped up and ripped Garara's belt off and raced off to the other side of the road. "Hey! Get back here you stupid dog!" Garara yelled and ran after the stray. The dog didn't move but sat there with the striped belt in its mouth and barked quietly. Just as Garara reached the dog and grabbed at his belt, a blinding light came out of nowhere and a loud crashing sound that made Garara duck and prepare for the worst. When he looked up, he saw that a car had crashed into the pole where he was standing! "H-How'd you-" Garara stuttered but when he looked around, the dog was gone as if it vanished into then air and his belt was lying on the ground. And silence took up the city again.
